Central Street was originally part of an old town built by Russians about 110 years ago. Now it has become a cobblestone pedestrian street for shopping and dining. There are many fancy shops and restaurants along the two sides of the street. At here, you can find local Harbin cuisine and the classic Russian restaurants, as well as many souvenir stores.
Walk along the pedestrian, you may stop for those pleasant street-arts. It will be even better if you try a local ice-cream called “Harbin Madier” there. During the wintertime, the street would be dazzling because there are interesting-looking ice sculptures with colorful lights displaying on the street everywhere.
