Day 4 Chengdu
Attractions: Dujiangyan Panda Base
Take this full day panda volunteer program in Dujiangyan Panda Base (08:30-16:00), making you an “Honorable Keeper”, “Panda Nutritionist” and “Love Feeder” to take care of the cuddly giant pandas. What’s more, volunteers can watch panda documentary to know more scientific facts about giant pandas, baby pandas and red pandas and how to protect them, have fun trip to see pandas climbing trees, playing together, eating and sleeping, etc. It will be once-in-lifetime experience even just a few hours with giant pandas.
Day 5 Chengdu
Attractions: Leshan Giant Buddha
In the morning, drive about 2 hours to visit Leshan Giant Buddha. It is the largest cliffside carving in ancient China, and the largest Buddha carving in the world. Viewing the cliff carving on a boat from its foot can be a mesmerizing experience for the family. Transfer back to Chengdu and appreciate a unique and fun trick of face-changing, Sichuan Opera.
Day 6 Chengdu
Attractions: Sichuan Cuisine Museum, Dao Ming Village, Kuanzhai Alley
Sichuan Cuisine Museum is the first museum to display a regional cooking culture in the world where you can learn Sichuan cuisine culture by viewing antiques and relics and using utensil, as well as participate in making “Pixian Douban” (local spicy bean paste). Go to visit Dao Ming Bamboo Village to try out the intangible cultural heritage bamboo weaving and feel its charm. Then continue to visit Kuanzhai Alley, the right place for enjoying both traditional and modern lifestyles of leisure, with plenty of tea houses, cafes, hot pot restaurants, etc. The “Panda Post Office” here mails out postcards with adorable panda stamps, a fun activity for the kids.
Day 7 Chengdu - Guilin (by flight)
Attractions: Guilin Rice Noodle Culture Center, Elephant Trunk Hill
Upon arrival, learn to make authentic Guilin rice noodles at Guilin Rice Noodle Culture Center. Visit the landmark of Guilin's spectacular limestone karst hills, The Elephant Trunk Hill. The shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk. Enjoy the fun nightlife of Guilin and visit the “Two Rivers and Four Lakes”. These waters glitter under the lights along the banks and bridges at night
Day 8 Guilin - Yangshuo (by cruise)
In the morning, embark on a memorable Li River Cruise. Through this 3-hour journey of China's best known natural scenery, you can appreciate unique karst landscapes as well as verdant hills and lovely waters. Enjoy Impression Liu Sanjie Show with real mountains as backdrop. The show utilizes the natural scenery of Li River to blend with the folk customs of the local people.
Day 9 Yangshuo
Attractions: Yangshuo
The Ten-Mile Gallery of Yangshuo is dotted with rolling hills, bamboo forests and local villages. Take a bicycle tour with your family and explore this scenic countryside is a good choice. In the afternoon, take a bamboo rafting on Yulong River. Sitting in a chair on the raft and floating down the Yulong River, you will be impressed by the amazing natural beauty in the countryside.
Day 10 Yangshuo - Guilin (by automobile) - Hong Kong (by bullet train)
Day 11 Hong Kong
Attractions: Disneyland
Full Day exploration in Hong Kong Disneyland, the first Disney Resort in China. Enter into a magical kingdom inspired by fairy-tale dreams and explore seven lands: Adventure Land, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land, Fantasy Land, Tomorrow Land and Main Street, U.S.A. - filled with beauty, excitement and Disney characters.
Day 12 Hong Kong
Attractions: Ocean Park, Victoria Peak
Have fun at Ocean Park, a world acclaimed theme park where you can enjoy amazing marine life, nature, and exciting thrill rides in over 60 attractions. It is an amusement park and zoo all-in-one lovely for your beloved children. Then go to the famous Victoria Peak, which has a beautiful landscape. A one-way Peak Tram trip is included. It goes from the bottom to the top in 8 minutes and is an interesting way to see the skyscrapers in the city.
