Xinjiang to open its first regular flight route to Malaysia

On February 24, China Southern Airlines will launch a round-trip route from Urumqi to Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur. This is the first regular international route from Xinjiang to Malaysia, which can meet the travel needs of passengers from the two sides.

 

It is reported that the newly opening round-trip route from Urumqi to Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur will be operated under the flight number CZ5065/6, with flights scheduled every Monday and Saturday. The route will be served by the Boeing B737-8 aircraft. The outbound flight# CZ5065 will depart from Urumqi International Airport at 10:45 Beijing time and arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 15:50. It will then take off from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 17:25 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 21:50 local time. The return flight# CZ5066 will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 08:05 local time, land at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 12:05 Beijing time, take off again from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 15:15, and arrive at Urumqi International Airport at 20:55.

 

Currently, Malaysian citizens are eligible for visa-free entry into China for tourism, staying for up to 30 days.
