Day 1 Pyongyang
Day 2 Pyongyang - Mt.Myohyang - Pyongyang (By automobile)
After breakfast, take a visit to Mountain Myohang to appreciate one of the most beautiful areas in the Korean peninsula. Afterwards, visit the International Friendship Exhibition Hall, a huge complex that consists of over 90,000 gifts which were given to Kim Il Sung and his son Kim Jong Il by Chairman Mao and Joseph Stalin! After lunch, you will return to Pyongyang and visit the Arch of Triumph and Mangyongdae Native House. Afterwards, visit the Youth palace to watch students in training before viewing a special performance given by local children. Then, you will enjoy a traditional Korean meal.
Ideas for leisure time: you could go to the National Stadium to watch the Mass Games or 'Arirang', a huge event which consists of more than 150,000 performers.
Day 3 Pyongyang - Kaesong - Pyongyang (By automobile)
After breakfast, you will go to the Panmunjom in Kaesong, the 'truce village' that straddles the North/South Korean border, and visit the Armistice Hall, where the truce was signed at the end of the Korean War. The North Korean military personnel will introduce the history of the site before visiting the DMZ or Military Demarcation line. Next, visit the Koryo History Museum and the Tomb of King Wang Gwon. In the afternoon, view the Tower of Juche Idea. Before returning to the hotel to shop at the export store, and you will have a traditional Korean meal as dinner.
