240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in China
China is implementing a 10-day (240 hours) visa-free transit policy. The transit program allows visitors who have existing flight bookings from China to a third country (region) to snag a visa on arrival at a Chinese airport (port) and stay for 10 days before departure. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan all count as third destinations.
Passport holders of 54 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, can enter visa-free through any of the 60 open airports (ports) in 24 provincial regions, covering popular tourist cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu and Guangzhou.

Day 1 Hong Kong
Day 2 Hong Kong
Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and your half-day tour starts from the Peak with the one-way tram ride, an impossibly steep but incredibly wonderful way to reach the Peak Tower where you'll be rewarded with the paradise of shopping, coffee and other minor attractions.
Then visit the fashionable Repulse Bay and the Aberdeen Fishing Village with sampan ride. You'll find how sharp the contrast is between the village’s traditional lifestyle and that of the high-rise community dwellers.
Head on and stroll around the Gem Factory Outlet, where free polishing and repairing services are also provided.
Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 3 Hong Kong- Macau- Hong Kong (by ferry)
In the morning meet your guide and transfer to take the ferry to Macau. Your first stop is the Ruins of St. Paul, where you'll tip your toes into the Sacred Art Museum with a collection of 17th Century religious paintings.
Learn about Macau past and present at the Macau Museum. (If you happened to visit on Monday off hours, your guide will take you to the Maritime Museum alternatively).
You will then enjoy a whole new buffet experience in Macau's highest revolving restaurant -- the Macau Tower 360 Cafe. You'll certainly don't want to miss a gaze of the skyscrapers, superstructures and the golden glows of the Pearl River Delta.
