240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in China
China is implementing a 10-day (240 hours) visa-free transit policy. The transit program allows visitors who have existing flight bookings from China to a third country (region) to snag a visa on arrival at a Chinese airport (port) and stay for 10 days before departure. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan all count as third destinations.
Passport holders of 54 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, can enter visa-free through any of the 60 open airports (ports) in 24 provincial regions, covering popular tourist cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu and Guangzhou.

Meanwhile, citizens from 38 countries can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days.
Day 1 Guiyang
Day 2 Guiyang - Hefeng Village (by automobile)
In the morning, drive about 2 hours to Hefeng Village which is mainly inhabited by Buyi and Miao minority people.
Then hike about 5 km to Wangche Village and experience the daily life with local people.
After lunch, hike about 10 km to visit the tea plantation.

Day 4 Guiyang - Kaili (by automobile)
Today, you will take a 3-hour car ride to Kaili, the capital city of Guizhou Southeast Autonomous Prefecture.
After lunch, hike about 10 km to Qingman Miao Village, a quiet village inhabited by the Miao minority, and learn about their culture. Enjoy the nice natural view on the way.
Afterwards, hike about 5 km to Shiqiao Miao Village to see the traditional paper making.
Day 5 Kaili - Leishan County (by automobile) - Maomaohe Village - Shuidian Village - Datang Village - Kaili (by automobile)
Today, take a car ride to Leishan County, center of the Miao culture in southeast Guizhou.
From Leishan, you will hike for half an hour before you reach Maomaohe Village, which is known for its Long-Skirt Miao, a subgroup of Miao ethnic minority group.
After lunch, drive to Shuidian Village via Leishan. Hiking in Shuidian village for 2 hours, you may feel as though you are idling along a corridor of landscape paintings of limestone pinnacles setting against terraced rice fields and picturesque villages.
Then you will visit Datang Village, inhabited by Short-Skirt Miao, a subgroup of Miao ethnic minority group. Datang is also well known for its beautiful dancing and singing performances.
Drive back to Kaili.
