Day 2 Urumqi - Turpan (by automobile)
Emin Minaret, also known as Sugong Tower, is one of the most famous Islamic constructions and the only Islamic tower in China.
Day 3 Turpan
Pass by the Flaming Mountain, which is famous in the Chinese classical literature “Journey to the West”.
The Bazelik Thousand Buddha Caves has 77 caves and inside each cave is a rural of the Buddha painted on the ceiling along with hundreds of Buddhist sculptures and figures.
With beautiful and elegant scenery, the Grape Valley is famous for growing all kinds of grapes and other fruits.

The Afaq Khoja Mausoleum is perhaps the finest example of Islamic architecture in Xinjiang, encompassing a larger complex that includes a functioning mosque and madrasa, the coffins of five generations of the family. The Mausoleum is also known as the Fragrant Concubine's Tomb, as it is the burial place of one of Afaq Khoja's descendants, Iparhan, who is believed to be the legendary Fragrant Concubine.
Day 7 Urumqi - Yining (by air)
Narat Pastureland
In the morning, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Yining, the capital of the Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture. Yining has fertile arable land, abundant water, vast grasslands and mineral resources.
Upon arrival, meet the guide and take a visit to the Narat Pastureland, which also boosts the name of “Pasture in the Sky". It’s the home of Kazakh, one of the Islamic ethnic groups in China.
Day 8 Yining
Sayram Lake, The Tughluq Temur Khan’s Mausoleum
Today, take an excursion to the Sayram Lake, a natural scenic in the northern ancient Silk Road. Its unique location makes it the largest and highest cold-water lake in Xinjiang.
In the afternoon, drive to the Tughluq Temur Khan’s Mausoleum. Tughluq Temur Khan was the seventh-generation descendent of Cenghis Khan, and was the first Mongolian in Xinjiang to believe in Islam. The mausoleum demonstrates the fabulous technique of Islam building arts.
Day 9 Yining - Urumqi (by air)
Yili Grand Bridge, Huiyuan City
In the morning, visit to the Yili Grand Bridge. The Yili Grand Bridge is a hyperbolic arch bridge made of reinforced concrete. Along the river has been set up a river-bank park which has already become a wonderful place for people to spend their holidays.
Then, head to the Huiyuan City which was built in 1758. The military facilities show the importance of the city in the past and the busy streets show the prosperity of its modern time.
Later, transfer to the airport and take a flight to Urumqi.
