Day 2 Qingdao
After breakfast, take a full day excursion in Qingdao City. At first visit Small Qingdao Islet, a tiny and fancy islet lies 720 meters off the shore. The islet is dotted with numerous beautiful corridors, sculptures, waterside pavilions, and gazebos surrounded by various kinds of flowers and pines.
Afterwards, stroll through the Zhan Bridge, which was originally built in 1891 as a naval pier. Zhan Bridge can be regarded as a construction as old as Qingdao City.
Then visit Tsingtao Beer Museum, China’s first and the oldest beer factory. In this classic European style architecture, you could know about beer production techniques and machinery, as well as the long and rich history of Tsingtao beer.
Then head to Badaguan (Eight Great Passes), which is made up of eight streets named after the eight great military forts of ancient China. Located along these famed streets are a number of houses and villas dated back to Qingdao’s German-concession era from 1897 to 1914.
Day 3 Qingdao - Qufu (by bullet train)
The Kong Family’s Mansion was used to be the residence of Confucius and his families. The Mansion boasts luxury furnishings, exquisite decorations, and precious cultural relics.
The Cemetery of Confucius is the largest family cemetery with the longest history in the world. There rested Confucius and his descendents.
Day 4 Qufu -Tai’an (by automobile)
Take a visit to the Mount Tai (UNESCO). You'll take a cable car to go up the mountain. It is reputed as the top one of the 'Five Sacred Mountains in China'. In the history, many poets and literary scholars also visited Mount Tai to gain inspiration and you could find many cultural relics and stylish stone tablets left by them.
