240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in China
China is implementing a 10-day (240 hours) visa-free transit policy. The transit program allows visitors who have existing flight bookings from China to a third country (region) to snag a visa on arrival at a Chinese airport (port) and stay for 10 days before departure. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan all count as third destinations.
Passport holders of 54 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, can enter visa-free through any of the 60 open airports (ports) in 24 provincial regions, covering popular tourist cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu and Guangzhou.

Meanwhile, citizens from 38 countries can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days.
Day 1 Guiyang - Anshun (by automobile)
The Tianxingqiao Scenic Area features various grotesque limestone formations, caves, waterfalls, forest, and lakes. It is a mysterious and spectacular world, which offers visitors a pleasant hiking environment.
Good to know: If you are looking forward a special trip to the Huangguoshu Waterfall and plan to put up for the night, we recommend to overnight in Guanling. Guanling is located 20 KM to the scenic area and hotels there has better facilities than Anshun’s hotel.
Day 2 Anshun - Guiyang (by automobile)
The Tiantai Mountain features a temple complex at its summit. Spectacular Buddhist artifacts are everywhere to be seen among the natural elegance and serenity.
The Tianlong Tunpu Old Town was an outpost position in the Ming Dynasty. It is worthy of the name “the No.1 Stone Town in Southwest China” as all its houses were built of stones, even the locals’ daily utensils.
Later, take a car ride back to Guiyang (about 2 hours) and transfer to your hotel.
