Fuzhou Travel Overview
Fuzhou, capital of Fujian Province, is one of the major transport hubs in Southern China. It has a population of 4.4 million in the city, 7.1 million for the whole prefecture. Fuzhou, or Foochow, is an old port city and has been an administrative center since the Qin Dynasty. Marco Polo visited it around 1290.
