Wuhan-Zhengzhou high-speed rail will be put into operation from 28 September. Thus the travelling time between Zhengzhou and Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen will be reduced to less than half as before. There will primely be 24 pairs of G trains linking Changsha, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xi’an every day.
As an important component of the major national railway strategy in China, the operation of this new line will help accelerate social and economic development in Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong provinces.
