Yangbajain boasts rich tourism resources of hot springs, glaciers, wetlands, snow mountains and lakes. In November, 2018, the local government also promoted relevant preferential policy to help boost the winter tourism in Tibet.
The Yangbajain hot springs field locates at an altitude of 4,290 to 4,500 meters which makes it the highest altitude set of hot springs in China, and possibly in the world. The highest temperature inside the drilling hole is 125.5°C. In the early morning, when the weather is still cold, above the hots pring always permeates heavy white mirage, which makes the hot spring looking like the wonderland.
