On September 4, "Beauty in Thousands of Years - The Fourth Special Exhibition of Ancient Figure Paintings in the Palace Museum" opened in the Forbidden City.
The exhibition selects 83 precious paintings with artistic and historical value to display, allowing visitors to walk into the life scenes of ancient Chinese ladies, reflecting the changes of their social status and living conditions under different politics and customs at different times. Visitors can deeply experience the touching story that has been passed down through the ages, feeling their delicate emotions of facing home and country.
The exhibition will be on view until October 31, 2024, with tickets to the Forbidden City.
