After Russia resumed direct flights to Hainan Province this March, another two new flight routes from Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk to Hainan were launched successively. These two flights offer a weekly service from August this year.
Up to now, Hainan Province has had three non-stop flights to Russia in operation, including Moscow – Sanya, Khabarovsk – Haikou and Krasnoyarsk – Haikou. By the end of August, the three routes have flown 46 flights. According to the Hainan Tourism Commission, Hainan has received a total of 30,300 Russian tourists from January to July this year, soared by 23.80% compared with last year.
Affected by the Hainan aviation subsidy policy, falling oil price and other factors, the prices of Russia – Hainan inbound tour have lower nearly 30% than 2014, which enhance the competitiveness of Hainan tourism.
