The Qingdao International Beer Festival this year will be held on from August, 13 to August, 28. It is largest Asian beer festival combined carnival, sport and cultural activities held in the coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong Province.
The theme of this year is "Qingdao Cheers the World", featuring an opening ceremony on August 12, a beer-drinking competition, an economic and trade show and a closing ceremony.
Visitors will be lucky to taste various kinds of beers from all over the world. Top beer brands such as Budweiser, Carlsberg, Heineken, Beck`s, Corona, Kirin, Asahi and Tiger are to take part in the festival. There are 17 beer booths in the 30,000-square-killometer exposition area. This year, the festival will build a special recreation area for children, and 11 recreational facilities for children will be equipped.
