The exhibition On Top of the Pyramid: The Civilization of Ancient Egypt opened to the public at the Shanghai Museum on July 19. The exhibition, featuring 492 sets of more than 780 precious cultural relics from different periods of ancient Egyptian civilization, is one of the largest exhibitions held outside Egypt over the past 20 years.
The exhibition features 492 sets of over 780 precious cultural relics from different periods of ancient Egypt. Among these, over 95 percent will be shown in Asia for the first time. The exhibition will be held at Shanghai Museum from July 2024 to August 2025.
