A brand new direct route between Singapore City and Guilin has entered service in early November. The flight is available on every Saturday, once in a week.

The service is offered by Singapore Silk Air which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines. It has occupied a place in the top 10 popular airlines list for years. The company operates scheduled passenger services from Singapore to 53 cities in 16 countries mainly among Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
