The first National Ice Fishing Game sponsored by China’s General Administration of Sports kicked off in Yinchuan, capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China on December 31, 2011.
This invitation game has attracted more than 200 fishing lovers around China. One Contestant from Yinchuan won the championship after two turns.
Yinchuan boasts many natural lakes and rivers and abounds with fish resources, which make it an ideal place in winter for fishing lovers.
