Nanjing and Nagoya to be linked by direct flight

According to the Juneyao Airlines, a new flight will link Nanjing, the capital and historical city in Jiangsu Province and Nagoya, Japan's fourth most populated city since June 15^th. This direct flight is the fifth direct flight linking Nanjing and Japan.

The flight will be operated by Airbus A320 of Juneyao Airlines. The flight HO1601 will depart from Nanjing Lukou International Airport every day at 11:00 Beijing time. It will arrive at Central Japan International Airport at 14:40 local time. The return flight HO1602 will depart from Nagoya at 15:40 local time. It will arrive in Nanjing at 18:20 Beijing time. The flight time is 3.5 hours.

Nanjing Lukou International Airport is about 35 kilometers away from the downtown area. Nanjing Lukou International Airport began the construction on February 28^th, 1995, and it was put into use since July 1^st, 1997. Nowadays, Nanjing Lukou International Airport has connected to 42 major cities, 19 international and two regional cities.
