Since May, China has allowed the entries of foreigners for business purposes from South Korea, on the condition of COVID-19 test, and is gradually advancing the economic normalization.
China has allowed Koreans to enter Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing and other cities for business purposes, with the negative certificate of COVID-19 test.
Immigrants from Korea must firstly go to the designated medical institution of the Ministry of Health of South Korea, for the COVID-19 test, within 72 hours before departure. They must have the negative certificate of COVID-19 test. After entering into China, they must have the COVID-19 and other tests again. If they still have the negative certificate, they are allowed to enter into China. The two-week quarantine observation will not be needed after the entry. Now this is the "fast access" mechanism between China and South Korea, which has set a model for the international cooperation in fighting against the COVID-19.
Now, the China government is still discussing with Japan government, to release the entry restrictions in some way under the epidemic situation. China is also communicating with a dozen countries in the Asia-Pacific region, such as Singapore on the “fast access” mechanism.
