The handmade mulberry-bark paper has been listed as intangible cultural heritage by the UNESCO. This craftsmanship originated thousands of years ago in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The locals still use the traditional methods and raw Ingredients to make the papers.

Mulberry-bark paper is made from the bark of the Mulberry Tree. The long fibers of the mulberry give this paper a soft feel, yet they create a highly durable paper.
