According to Hainan Airlines, from December 27th, a new direct flight will be opened linking Chongqing, the largest municipality in southwest China, and Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The flight will be the first direct flight connecting the two cities and will fly on every Monday and Friday.
The flight will be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft. The flight HU791 will depart from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 01:40 local time. After nearly 11 hours’ flight, it will arrive in Budapest at 05:30 local time. The return flight HU792 will leave Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport at 12:40 local time, and will arrive in Chongqing at 05:00 (+1) Beijing time.
Chongqing has the history of more than 3,000 years. Chongqing is a major metropolis and municipality in the southwest China. Located on the confluence of the Yangtze and the Jialing River, the city is a high stop-off and departure point on up or downstream Yangtze River Cruises. Apart from that, Jiefangbei, Dazu Rock Carving, Wulong Karst, Ciqikou Ancient Town, are also the famous sites for visitors.
