The flight will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, and is scheduled to fly every day. Starting from January 23rd, the flight GX8970 will leave from Nanning Wuxu International Airport at 19:00 Beijing Time. It will arrive in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport at 20:25 local time. A single trip will take for two hours and 25 minutes.
Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airlines commenced operations on February 13th, 2015. It currently has 56 domestic and international air routes among 55 cities. It plans to launch more direct flights to Hanoi, Jakarta and Manila within the next two years.
Nanning, as the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has become the political, economic and cultural center in Guangxi. Bordering Vietnam, this city neighbors to Guangzhou, close to Hong Kong and Macau, and faces Southeast Asia. The advantageous location makes Nanning a commercial and communication center, which helps open China to Southeast Asia.
