The Fujian Museum in southeast of China became China's main venue for the International Museum Day from May 17 to 19, 2023.
The theme of this event is "Museums, Sustainability and Better Lives" at the Fujian Museum, showing the latest achievements of the development of Chinese museums. Additionally, there are plenty of exhibitions, seminars and forums.
The exhibition of Maritime Silk Road in the museum commemorates the 10th anniversary of China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative. A number of museums offers free interpretation services including Jiangsu, Yunnan, Heilongjiang and Guangxi on May 18, 2023.
Besides, the Fujian Museum hosts the Armenian cultural relics exhibition for the first time in China, exhibiting ethnic clothing, world heritage relics and tea culture artifacts. While, there is an exhibition on Dehua porcelain, promoting the exchange of cultures all over the world.
