American Airlines launched two new direct flights from Dallas to Shanghai and Hong Kong on 12 June. Both flights are daily operated.
The Shanghai-Dallas line will fly with a Boeing 777-200ER and is scheduled to leave Shanghai at 16:50 and arrive at Dallas at 14:35 on the same day.
The service between Hong Kong - Dallas will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER. The flight will leave for Dallas at 13:30 and arrive at 16:30 on the same day. The return flight is expected to depart at 12:40 and arrive at Hong Kong at 18:00 the next day.
American Airlines still lags behind Delta and United in service to Asia. On Monday, United Airlines launched flights from San Francisco to Chengdu, while Delta plans to launch a nonstop flight between Seattle and Hong Kong next week.
