According to Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery, the relocation project has been officially started on June 4. Based on the Chongqing overall improvement planning requirements of the core area, Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery will be moved from Chaotianmen Square to Danzishi Square, in Nanan District.
The new gallery is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The main exhibition halls are expected to be completed and open in October 2020. This relocation project will have great significance in improving the urban function layout and the quality and environment of the city, and enhancing the attractiveness and competitiveness of Chongqing. In the future, it will become the first-class people-orientated display space focusing on creating green, wisdom and innovative demonstration, displaying the new development ideas and the working conditions of Chongqing.
Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery has an exhibition area of 7000 square meters, is one of the important platforms for displaying Chongqing’s cityscape. It also plays an important role as the National Science Education Base, and National 4A Class Scenic Spot.
