According to the Institute of Dazu Rock Carvings, the world cultural heritage site and national 5A scenic spot, Dazu Rock Carvings Scenic Area, will open to all China’s medical workers for free within one year from the date of re-opening. This policy aims to show the great gratitude to medical workers for their efforts during the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Li Fangyin, the president of the Institute of Dazu Rock Carvings, the scenic area will open for free to all China’s medical workers. In addition, their family members including spouse, children and parents, 8 persons at most can also enjoy the policy. Besides, the advanced models, who have made great contributions in fighting against the epidemic will also be free to visit the Dazu Rock Carvings depending on the circumstances. For the detailed policy, the area will be issued before the re-opening.
Dazu Rock Carvings Scenic Area, including Dazu Rock Carvings Museum, Shengshou Temple and Guangda Temple, Beishan Rock Carvings Scenic Area and Nanshan Rock Carvings Scenic Area, have been temporarily closed from January 25th in order to prevent and control the cross infection. The re-opening time will be announced soon in the future according to the situation.
