The time from Chengdu East Railway station to Huanglong Jiuzhai station will be greatly shortened to less than 2 hours after the direct train opened on August 30. Within 4 hours, visitors can easily get to the picturesque fairyland in the north of Sichuan province from Chengdu.
At peak times, up to 30 trains will be operated per day. Also, tourists who come to Sichuan by plane can transfer to Huanglong Jiuzhai station directly at the Shuangliu Airport without entering Chengdu city by taking C5752.
After exiting the station, visitors can directly transfer by car or shuttle bus to reach the entrance of Huanglong National Park in about 40 minutes and Jiuzhaigou in about 1.5 hours. Tourists can also choose to arrive at Sanxingdui station by getting on these trains in about 18 minutes from Chengdu East Railway Station.
