Changsha, the capital of central China's Hunan Province, has offered 72-hour visa-free entry policy for international passengers since Jan, 2016.

Changsha is the 17th city in the Chinese mainland to embrace the policy, following Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shenyang, Xi'an, Dalian, Guilin, Kunming, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Xiamen, Tianjin, Harbin and Nanjing.

The policy covers travelers from 51 countries and regions, including the USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan, South Korean and Singapore. They can apply for a transit without visa at the Nanjing Lukou International Airport, providing they have third country visas and onward tickets to leave for a third country or region within 72 hours.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in Hunan is Zhangjiajie, known for its beautiful natural landscape and magic karst caves. Visitors could appreciate the magic work done by the nature in Mount Tianzi, Yuanjiajie and Baofeng Lake, where are the most beautiful parts of Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.
