CAAC approves 10 international flights from Beijing’s new airport

According to Civil Aviation Administration of China, 10 international flight routes which depart from the newly built Beijing Daxing International Airport have been approved on March 6th. Situated at the junction of Beijing's Daxing District and Langfang City in Hebei, the second international airport in Beijing will run into operation for the public before September 30th.

 

During February 2th and March 4th this year, 32 international air routes applied this year, and 10 of them will depart from Beijing Daxing International Airport later this year. The 10 international flights will reach to the destinations include Cairo, Moscow and several cities in South Korea.

 

Said by the director of the administration, Feng Zhenglin, the construction work of Beijing Daxing International Airport’s main terminal has been finished. The interior decoration project, installation and testing process of electromechanical equipment are underway. All the construction work will be completed by June 30th. By 2021, the new airport is expected to handle 45 million passengers annually, and 72 million by 2025.
