On July 25, National Art Museum of China opens the "Belt and Road" International Art Exhibition. As an international art project exhibition, nearly 200 works by artists from China and other countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, are on shown to the public. The exhibition will last until August 4.
The exhibition displays the art works of various forms, including Chinese painting, oil painting and sculpture. All the works are sponsored by the Academy's international art project, "The Belt and Road," which was initiated in 2014.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and undertaken by the China National Academy of Painting. It is a concentrated display of the creative achievements of the "Belt and Road" international art project. The project has mobilized many outstanding artists from China and other countries along the “Belt and Road” to actively participate in the exhibition. It is also a platform for the cultural exchanges in the art field.
