With Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway going into operation on 26th December, high speed rail between Zhengzhou and Xi'an, Beijing and Zhengzhou will be linked. Thus Xi'an will embrace the first high speed railway with Beijing, reducing the travelling time between the two cities to 4 hours and 40 minutes.
There will be in total 10 railway units between Xi'an North Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station with the train number of G652/G651, G659/G660, G668/G667 and so on. The earliest train G652 departs Xi'an at 07:50, and arrives in Beijing at 13:17; G651 departs Xi'an at 07:05, and arrives in Beijing at 12:48. The latest train G668 departs Xi'an at 17:55, and arrives in Beijing at 23:20; G667 departs Beijing at 17:38, and arrives in Xi'an at 23:05.
