On July 13rd, Shijingshan Amusement Park in the western part of Beijing opened its summer carnival. Themed on revelry, the summer carnival will last until August 31st. During the festival, light show, float parades, beer festival and gourmet food will be all presented to the visitors in the park.
The most attractive scene is the light landscape in the park, which covers about 250,000 square meters. With the use of electricity and light techniques, it has developed more than 20 sets of light-based images, resembling mermaids, forests and Ferris wheels. In addition, there will also be COSPLAY, street dance, guitar music, clowns and cartoon figures to entertain the visitors.
Shijingshan Amusement Park has opened to public since September 1986 and it is a theme park with characters based on Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Nowadays it has gradually become a large modern and popular theme park, which offers more than 50 thrilling amusement programs.
