The annual Beijing Changping Apple Culture Festival is held until Nov 30 to celebrate the apple harvest season. About 30 km from downtown Beijing, Changping boasts a wide variety of apples that grow in the numerous apple orchards and apple houses.
Lots of entertainment events are scheduled, including international long-walk carnival, photography contest and farm house party. The Beijing International Long-walk Carnival was held on Nov 3 with thousands of local and foreign participants.
