On August 8, the Great Wall Cultural Festival opens in Beijing. In the future two months, until October 7, people can visit the Badaling Great Wall on weekend nights. At the same time, 22 themed activities will also be carried out successively, covering academic exchanges, exhibitions, literary creation, and other aspects.
According to the scenic area, people can reserve the night tours of Badaling Great Wall on every Friday and Saturday during the festival. An evening gala of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a cultural fair on Chinese traditional costumes and online lectures including one about cultural heritage protection are also scheduled during the festival.
At the same time, during the Beijing Great Wall Cultural Festival, the Second China Great Wall Culture Academic Seminar, the Badaling Great Wall Summit, the Great Wall-themed painting and calligraphy exhibition, photographic works exhibition, and document digital exhibition, and other exhibitions will also be held at the festival.
