The fourth Cultural Festival of National Art Treasures has just started at the Museum of Chinese Art Treasures in Beijing. The exhibition will last until Dec 18th, with 23 items of national Intangible Cultural Heritages displaying in the museum
On-site performances of the Intangible Cultural Heritages are the highlights of the exhibition, including paper making, traditional Lu brocade weaving, Miao ethnic people’s silver ornament making.
The theme of this year’s festival is "Maintaining Tradition, Developing Classical Arts and Promoting Cultural Prosperity." Some horns from the extinct wooly rhinoceros and other art treasures were displayed at the festival.
