Anshun is a city located in the mid-west of Guizhou Province. Anshun boasts well-developed transportation facilities. Air
Anshun Huangguoshu Airport is situated 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles) south from downtown. The airport is equipped with advanced facilities such as blind landing system and meteorological automatic observing system. Flights to and from major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Kunming and Guangzhou are operated every day.
Train
Anshun railway station is located in Nanhua Road, near the South Bus Station. There are 24 trains from Anshun to Guiyang every day. Trains to other major cities in China are operated frequently, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou, etc. Besides, tourists could take short distance trains to Huangguoshu Waterfall.
Coach
There are two main coach stations in this city. South Bus Station is located in Nanhua Road, West Bus Station lies beside the Gong'an Mansion in Taxi Road.
Tourists could take coaches travel to cities within or outside Guizhou Province. There are also shuttle buses from Anshun city to major tourist attractions, including Huangguoshu Waterfall and Dragon Palace Scenic Area in South Bus Station, West Bus Station and the square of the Railway Station. City Transportation
Anshun has a sound public bus network. Within the city, buses are clean and there are about 15 bus lines in the city. Tourists could catch a bus at any station to reach the main streets in the city. It is convenient to travel by taxi in Anshun. Taxis can be hailed anywhere simply by putting your arm out. From 00:00 to 07:00 the price goes from CNY8 for the beginning two kilometers and then charges CNY1.2 per km. From 07:00 to 24:00 the price goes from CNY3 for the first two kilometers and then charges CNY1 per km. Sometimes taxi drivers don’t use meter if the destination is in rural area. Bargaining is common under this situation.
