Today take 6 hour’s drive to Korla. Once an important stop on the ancient Silk Road, Korla is now the transportation hub connecting the north and south of Xinjiang. On the road, you will see wind power station, Dasaka town, Bosten Lake.

Day 4 Korla - Kuqa (by automobile)
Today, visit the Keziliya Grand Canyon and the Iron Gate Pass in Kuqa.
Day 5 Kuqa - Aksu (by automobile)
The Kuqa Museum has collection of over 600 artifacts, including unearthed relics, cave murals, and folk artifacts, as documented in the Chinese Museum Yearbook.
The Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves is one of the best preserved caves in Xinjiang. It was built around 3rd century AD, and left about 265 caves today.
Day 6 Aksu - Kashgar (by automobile)

Day 8 Kashgar - Urumqi (by air) - Turpan (by automobile)
Explore the city on your own this morning. In the afternoon, be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Urumqi.
Upon arrival, your tour guide in Urumqi will pick you up and transfer you to Turpan (about 2.5 hours driving). This desert oasis, also known as the Fire Island, will show you its historical heritage and unique natural landscape.
Day 9 Turpan
The Bazelik Thousand Buddha Caves has 77 caves and inside each cave is a rural of the Buddha painted on the ceiling along with hundreds of Buddhist sculptures and figures.
The Gaochang Ancient Ruins used to be the capital of ancient kingdom Gaochang, which is also the biggest ruins in Xinjiang.
