Day 1 Suzhou
Pick up from your hotel in the early morning and arrive at the Humble Administrator's Garden at 6:30 am. Avoid the crowds, explore the garden before anyone else. The Humble Administrator’s Garden is the largest and the most famous garden in Suzhou and contains almost all the features of classical Suzhou gardens. It is celebrated by its exquisite layout of pools, rockeries, islets, bamboo grove, pines, pavilions and corridors.
After an experience of a rickshaw tour, you may have an authentic Chinese dim sum breakfast in a pavilion near the lovely pond. Dim sum is a style of Chinese cuisine prepared as small bite-sized portions of food served in small steamer baskets or on small plates. A live performance of Suzhou Pingtan will be given by local artists during the breakfast. Suzhou Pingtan is a musical and oral performance art form popular in southern Jiangsu, northern Zhejiang, and Shanghai.
